The advocacy group says its minister is ready to testify as an expert witness
The Satanic Temple (TST), a religious organization based in the United States, has proposed that it “Priesttestified on behalf of transgender TST members that gender affirmation programs are part of the core tenets of Satanism.
The offer, announced on social media on Wednesday, is known as expert witness services and is “Tailored specifically for transgender members of the TST who face violations of their bodily autonomy by government authorities at the local, state, or federal level,” According to the news.
Transgender rights have become a hot-button political issue in the United States, with conservative politicians pushing for severe restrictions in some areas. In April, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives passed a bill aimed at banning transgender women and girls from girls’ school sports. Liberal opponents call such policies transgender policies.
The temple claims to have more than 700,000 members worldwide and lists complete personal control over one’s body as one of its seven principles. The organization promotes individual freedom, secularism and reason.

A recent TST campaign focused on a monument featuring the Ten Commandments erected in 2012 on the grounds of the Oklahoma State Capitol. The group attempted to place a statue of the demon Baphomet next to it, one of the symbols it uses in its rituals.
It withdrew the request after the Oklahoma Supreme Court ruled in 2015 that the original monument violated the state’s constitution, which prohibits state sponsorship of any religion. TST is involved in similar protests and legal proceedings against the Arkansas Ten Commandments monument.
