I can’t speak to whether it’s justified or not, but I’ve heard multiple people express concern over the „new“ mRNA type vaccine (Pfizer and Moderna), who are totally ok with traditional heavier tested vaccines types (like J&J and AstraZeneca‘s are, I guess). I suspect it shouldn’t be a concern, but that notion is out there for sure.
